With considerable thought and devotion to the privacy and integrity of my patients' behavioral health treatment, I have made the decision to be a private pay clinical psychologist. If you are interested in utilizing insurance, I recommend you contact your insurance carrier to request information about your out-of-network mental health benefits. If you choose to submit an out-of-network claim for reimbursement, I will be happy to provide you with a detailed receipt for you to submit to your insurance carrier.
What do I ask my insurance carrier?
I recommend you ask if your policy includes reimbursement for out-of-network outpatient psychotherapy ? If so, what is the deductible amount and once the deductible is met, how much of the session fee is covered?
What should I know if I decide to submit a claim to my insurance?
Insurance plans and coverage vary greatly, however all insurance companies only pay for 'medically necessary' procedures. This means that a covered mental health diagnosis is required when submitting a claim and your insurance company may ask for detailed information about your ongoing services in order to approve payment. For this reason, many patients prefer to not disclose any information regarding their services.
Payment is due at the time of the therapy services.
Initial Appointment Fee: $180
Ongoing Individual Appointments: $150
I require 24 hours notice to cancel a scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full session rate. This also applies to no show appointments.
Schedule a free15-minute consult or call my office and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Hours Vary Upon Need
